They didn't see the colors

This comic in three parts was inspired by real life. When I started drawing it, I didn't know if they'd see the colors. Turns out they didn't. That is fine. It hurts badly, but it's not their fault. You can't make them see the colors. You just have to look away, until the colors fade and you can be yourself again.

Comic transcript

Panel 1:
H is standing next to G who has got their leg stuck in a rope that is hanging from the ceiling.
H: So ... why did you ...
G: I don’t know ... It seemed fun at the time. Just give me those ...
Panel 2:
The rope snaps apart
Panel 3:
G crash-lands on H, as their faces are very close to each other.
Panel 4:
H suddenly realizes that G's eyes are green
H: Wha ... what?
Panel 5:
G has become colorized
H: Do you ... are you seeing this, too? Are these ... c ... c ... colors?
Panel 6:
G is seen standing in a colorful field of flowers as a colorful butterfly is flapping by.
G: See what? Colors? You’ve been reading too much, again.
Panel 7:
G: I’ll go and get some water now.
G walks away
Panel 8:
H is standing alone in a still black and white panel. Nothing changed.
Panel 9:
H starts crying.
