Did you know that the first version of the lemon squirrel matrix was designed to be a perfect lemon squirrel world? Where none suffered, where everyone was happy. It was a ... success, surprisingly. Apparently that already did the trick. Looks like lemon squirrels are a bit less sophisticated than humans.

Panel 1: P and R are still surrounded by lemons squirrels.
P: Listen! We really need to do something about these things. I’m so sick of the smell of lemons. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to drink lemonade again.
R: Aight, I might have an idea. Panel 2:
R: How about this: You collect them and I’ll deal with them. Trust me, this is gonna be awesome, dude. Panel 3: Quite some time later
P: Finally. They’re all gone. But ... what did you do with them?
R: Well, let’s say we won’t need to pay the electricity bill anymore ... Panel 4: The lemons squirrels are swimming in vats, wires are connected to electrodes that were pushed into them. The scene is heavily inspired by the power plant from the movie "The Matrix". Panel 5:
P: You put them into a giant dystopian power plant, feeding them a simulated reality so they don’t notice they’re being exploited for electricity?
R: Did you never make a lemon battery in science class?
