Technology is the perfect mask

Come to think of it, never before could we so freely communicate any information we wanted to anyone without exposing any of our real emotions. We can leave it all to interpretation or just lie about it. Its easy to add three emojis to your message, implying that you are basically dying of laughter, when you are so depressed, your face didn't even twitch. Think of it honestly: When selecting the emotions communicated with your messages (be it through wording, punctuation, or emojis), do you really think about the emotions you are feeling? Or are you rather considering what emotions would be appropriate, expected or spark the desired reaction?

I guess, here's one reason why being a psychopath is so damn easy in this day and age.
