Wasn't it also their tube? They paid a lot to get it made. And they used it to control G. Even though, at the time the tubes broke, they were not technically in use, G could have decided any time to accept the tits' conditions. Although it was unlikely to happen, who knows what G would have done, if the stuff from the bottle had turned out to be not as good or insufficient in quantity. Withdrawal could be quite bad, driving them to desperate measures, maybe even legitimizing the kidnapping. One could say, the tubes were a big part of the tits' plan.
Now H, on the other hand, has no stake in the tubes. They didn't pay for them, they don't need them. In fact, they regard them as a problem, even without the kidnapping. With the tubes gone, G has no other choice than to accept the bottled stuff.
So, if H broke the tubes, and I'm not saying they did, what if G finds out about it? G also invested in those tubes. G and H are friends. Friends don't break their friends' stuff on purpose. G would probably be super pissed about it. But what would they do about it? They need that stuff from the bottle. it's their only hope now. Regardless of who broke the tubes, G is going to suffer now. The bottle is probably not enough and it's certainly more expensive. Also, you need to build specialized LNG terminals ... whoops ... I mean ... you need a ... specialized ... mouthpiece to ... drink from the bottle. ... Look, no metaphor is perfect, ok.
Anyways, would H have broken the tubes, would their motifs have been that bad? The tits are a problem and need to be stopped. They're the first truly evil character(s) of this comic, despite Tucan't trying their best. It was wrong of G to become addicted to the stuff from the tube in the first place and it will be best for everyone if they just get off that stuff.
However, I still think it would have been quite the dick move of H. It would be very patronizing. Also, if G decides to turn their back to the tits and go with their friend H, it is a much more impactful symbol if the tubes are intact. G would need to wonder, if H could really be trusted. Who guarantees that H always has G's best interest in mind and isn't just imposing their will on them? Being the smarter person comes with much responsibility. Would breaking the tubes really be the most responsible thing to do? I honestly don't know.
I'd like to know the truth, though. Unfortunately, I don't know if I ever will ...
