It's crazy. When I drew the first lemon-squirrel, I had absolutely no plans for it to be anything more than a quick gag. Now they even have their own talk show.

Will lemon-squirrel and lemon-bunny will fall in love again? I think it's an interesting question. If we had the DNA of Johnny Cash and June Carter, as well as a slightly more enhanced cloning technology, we could make some really fascinating, yet ethically very questionable experiments. If we made exact clones of them, would they fall in love? Would this always happen, or is it dependent on the circumstances? If one Johnny Cash had multiple different versions of June Carter to choose from, where only a single gene was altered, which one would they choose? I can't imagine it would be always the original, although that would be incredibly romantic.

Host: Don’t you think you could at least give it a shot, though?
LS: I don’t know ... they have ... like ... really stupid ears.
Host: Pretty pleeeease.
LS: Alright, I’ll go an a date with them.
The crowd is cheering enthusiastically.
