I recently picked up food from a Korean chicken restaurant, ordering in advance from their website. I saw that they were offering gimbap, which I never had at that place before, so I ordered some. I picked the earliest pickup date the site offered me, since the place is right down the street. I arrived at the place and they hadn't even started making my order. I waited 15 minutes and after 10 minutes of waiting, a very nervous employee came to me and confessed that they don't actually have any gimbap. It was immediately obvious they had quite the bad conscience about my order.
But here's the catch: I had food from this place quite a few times already, but never before had it been that good. They really made sure that the food they could give me was as delicious as possible. They put on more sauce than ever before and gave me some extra chicken. I'd honestly pay extra money if I could always get their bad conscience food. Ordering that gimbap was the best decision ever, although I didn't get any.
If it's still on the menu, I'll order the gimbap again next time. However, I'll probably be disappointed if they actually have gimbap then...
