Based on a true story

well, I mean, based on a conversation I had recently. I don't go to the laundromat. I don't even know why these birds either. Well ... now that I think of it, it makes sense. You might have noticed that they don't wear clothes. Still, they'll need to wash bedsheets, towels, rugs, curtains and all that stuff from time to time. But if that was all you had to was, would you get your own washing machine?

But the more interesting bit: When I was rambling about laundry, did I secretly explain an algebra theorem to you? There's no way for you to know. Maybe I'm doing it right now ...

No, I'm not.

Or am I?

Panel 1:
Parrot and the beautiful parrot are talking at a laundromat.
P: Yesterday I was reading something about a field of trees.
BP: What a strange way to talk. Isn't a “field of trees” just a forest?
Panel 2:
P: Well, you could cut the root off the trees to get forests, but the branches would not be unique, so forests are only a ring.
BP: This makes ... zero sense ... wait, are you talking about math stuff again?
P: Well, duh.
Panel 3:
BP: Ohhh, sorry I didn’t think of math when you said “tree” and “field”. You guys should seriously get your own words.
Panel 4:
P: We have our own words. They're elements of languages.
BP: Exactly! You guys have a different language, so you should use different words.
Panel 5:
P: But the same word can be an element of different languages, as long as the alphabet is the same!
BP: I just don't think ALL the words should be the same!
Panel 6:
P: Well, yeah, because then it would be the same language.
BP: I'd say otherwise, but what do I know ...
