If you don't get it, you'd better go and read some old bird.lol comics. I suggest you start from Comic 136. Unless you want to know why there's so many lemon squirrels, then you should start with Comic 128. Unless you have fun reading comics, then you might as well start from the beginning.

Panel 1:
G and H are sitting at their usual table.
G: So, let me get this straight: Parrot told you a bunch of personal stuff noone asked for, and when you pointed out their suppressed feelings, they basically ripped your thesis to shreds?
Panel 2:
H: Yeah, but don’t worry, they don’t mean it. I'm certain they didn’t even read it.
G: How do you know that? And why are you so calm about all this?
Panel 3:
H: Because when I wanted to send them the current version of my thesis, I misclicked and sent them this stupid paper that proves that life is meaningless. At first I was stressed out about it, but then I read it again and remembered that life is meaningless.
G: Hmmm, for some reason I want ice cream now.
