Wait, did I just ... ?

Yes, it happened. I included a bible reference in a comic. Sorry about that. I know, it's unrealistic for H to just know that passage by heart, especially since it's not really a well known one. I know, it's even more unrealistic for you to know that one. But I think the comic is funny, even if you don't know what Numbers 11:1 says. I mean, does it really surprise you that there is a fitting bible passage? It's a really weird book after all. In case you're one of that curious people, and if you're reading this comic you probably are, I'll save you the Google search:

*Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the LORD, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.*

Yes, I know, it's not actually a house burning down, but I didn't really care for too much research. There's probably better fitting bible quotes. I also considered Numbers 16:35, where God burns 250 men, but that seemed excessive and it's also not really a house fire. Whatever, I have very little knowledge about theology.

Comic transcript

Panel 1:
H is at their psychiatrist's office.
P: So, how was your stay in psychiatric care? Do you feel better?
H: Not really.
P:Yeah, it’s not the most comforting accommodation.
Panel 2:
P: So, why did you ... you know what?
H: I did not light those fireworks. It was the Magpiecoon. Why does no one believe that?
P: Because they’re not real.
Panel 3:
H: Neither is God. And people believe in God, too.
P: God doesn’t light houses on fire, though.
H: Numbers 11:1.
P: Well ...
